I began in the corporate/tech world skyrocketing up the ladder through my 20s, becoming a magazine editor and starring on HGTV… Until I burned out.

Without any connections, a college degree or investors, I bootstrapped my first business with my retirement savings and never looked back — Unique Markets became a million-dollar brand (FYI: only 2% of woman-owned businesses in the US reach $1mil per year. Let’s change that!!!), and then I followed it with more community-driven businesses, CAMP and The Unique Space.

I’m passionate about teaching others and have been a main-stage speaker at conferences such as SXSW, Create & Cultivate, Girlboss Rally, Quickbooks Connect, and HOW Design Live. As a creative and experiential consultant I’ve worked with a lot of great brands including Nike, Airbnb, Madewell, Square, Redbull, and Adobe.
